Systems go in the draw for the month they were registered.
Only one competition entry per installed system (eg. if you purchase two systems for one home you can get up to 2 entries).
Competition is open to the owner of the home the system is installed in, valid for individuals not businesses.
Product registration is tied to warranty, see Five Year Warranty conditions for more details.
Warranty is from the date the system was purchased, not the date of registration.
Registration allows us to communicate with you about future offers, system upgrades and filters changes. You may opt out at any time.
Five Year Warranty
SmartVent warrants to the purchaser that this product is free from defects in the material and workmanship for a period of five years from the date of the original retail purchase. This warranty is only valid if proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale, invoice or purchase receipt is presented at the time of request of service and if the attached warranty card is completed and returned to SmartVent.
The customer shall ensure that the goods are fit and suitable for the purpose for which they are required and the company is under no liability if they are not.
The Warranty is in addition to all other conditions, warranties, guarantees, rights and remedies which may be applied by relevant legislation in New Zealand.
This warranty will not be applicable if the product has not been operated and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations contained in the operating & installation instructions provided with the product, or if the product has been used in a manner other than for which it was originally designed, or if the damage, malfunction or failure has resulted from incorrect voltages, alterations, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, faulty or improper installation or main supply problems.
A condition of the 5 year warranty is the use of genuine SmartVent parts and filters. The warranty on the entire system is void if non-genuine SmartVent parts (including but not limited to; controller, filter, duct, fan(s) and grilles) are used as this may affect performance. Simx Ltd takes no responsibility if non-genuine parts are supplied or installed by a third party.
We recommend that you keep all the original packaging as it provides the best protection should you have to store or transport this unit in the future.
Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the Goods repaired or replaced if the Goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Evolve tablets are covered by a one year warranty.
Filter replacement is not included in this warranty.

Submit a Return Request Form online to receive an authorisation number via email.
Print a copy of your email (Return Request Form including authorisation number).
Return the product to your supplier, or place of purchase, with the following documentation:
– original proof of purchase,
– a copy of the completed Return Request Form,
– and the authorisation number (which has been provided when the Return Request Form was submitted)
If the product is covered under warranty and is deemed faulty by the manufacturer, it will be repaired, or replaced, and then returned to your supplier.
Your supplier will contact you to advise the product is ready to be collected.
If the product selected is not suitable for the home and is returned to Simx Ltd in ‘as new’ condition within 28 days from the date of purchase, we will consider refunding the full purchase price, excluding any shipping costs.
